Famous for its twisting singletrack trail through slickrock bowls and ledges, Gooseberry Mesa serves up a multitude of trail options to suit almost all riding abilities with fantastic views of Zion National Park and the Southwestern Colorado Plateau. Gooseberry Mesa is a great place to improve your mountain bikinig skillsets with abundant rock rollers and balancey steep but short uphill grinds.

Desert singletrack so fast and furious it'll bring a smile to your face. Relatively easy (technically) riding provides us with some wicked downhill riding fun as we juke and jive our way through the sagebrush lined singletrack and along the rim of the same Virgin River that carved the famous Zion Narrows in Zion National Park .

Welcome to the high country. Here at just over 9000ft. the air is thin but the scenery is amazing. This aspen clad lake loop is aproximately 12mi. in length and can afford one the opportunity to look down Zion Canyon. This ride is a great place to escape the heat as temps can be as much as 20 degrees cooler at this altitude. Drive time is aproximately 1.5hr but scenic as can be.

Aproximately 25mi. in length the combination of these trails makes for a great fullday mountain bike ride for most people. This ride is strenuous because of it's length and only moderately technical. Most people have a ne found love for the desert landscape after this ride as the views are tremendous and the riding is miles and miles of sculpted singletrack.

Spend a day with a mountain bike guide and explore Gooseberry Mesa. We'll expose you to the slickrock practice loop and link doubletrack and singletrack trails to some amazing views of Zion National Park and the surrounding Colorado Plateau. Gooseberry also serves as a great place to discuss the geological history of the area with views of old lava cindercones and an abundance of trailside petrified wood.

Desert singletrack and doubletrack riding affords excellent views of Zion National Park. The riding is relatively easy immersing us in the true openness of the desert southwest. Sagebrush abounds yet is not high enough to block vistas or the trail ahead-this allows faster riding as you can see obstacles well before you speed up on them. We finish this early morning ride with a dip in the Virgin River. The same Virgin River that carved the famous Zion Canyon Narrows.

You just can't beat seeing Zion Canyon by bicycle. Throw in a bike guide/naturalist and you really start to understand Zion on a more intimate level. From our shop this is approximately an 18mi round-trip ride that is not really all that physically demanding. Time permitting we'll choose a hike that fits our schedule and discuss some natural history and how it relates to Zion's rich cultural history and the formation of Zion Canyon.
